How It Works
Dignity Through Choice. Simplicity Through Credits.
The Choice Closet operates just like a small online store — but instead of using cash or a card, participants shop with monthly credits provided by the Eldorado Service Center. This system gives families real options, encourages budgeting, and provides a more respectful, personalized experience.

Get Approved
If you’re referred through a partner agency or approved by our team, we’ll set up your Choice Closet account. This is a simple one-time process. If you don’t have internet access, we’ll help you place your orders in person or over the phone.

Receive Monthly Credits
Each enrolled household receives credits to spend each month — enough to shop for commonly needed hygiene items. The average monthly credit value is approximately $90. Unused credits do not roll over.

Shop Online
Browse the online store and add items to your cart based on your available credits. Everything is labeled with the credit “cost” (e.g. shampoo = 9.33 credits, toothpaste = 4.64 credits). You control what goes in your cart.

Schedule a Pickup
Once you’ve placed your order, choose a pickup window (Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9:00–11:00 AM). You’ll receive a confirmation with the time and location.
What Can You Get?
The store is stocked with essential hygiene and household items like:
Toilet paper
Toothpaste & mouthwash
Soap & body wash
Laundry detergent
Razors, deodorant, pads
Dish soap, cleaner, and more
Your credits are yours to use based on what your family actually needs.
